The Peddler's Village Rube Goldberg Challenge is in dedication to the Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist Reuben Lucius Goldberg (Rube Goldberg for short) who created whimsical drawings that depicted machines taking simple, everyday tasks and making them as incredibly complicated as imaginable.
The challenge allows anyone at any level to compete. There are 3 levels of competition: The College Level, The High School, and The Friends & Family Level. Each level is separate from each other and hosts its own set of rules to accommodate the varying abilities found at each level.
